About Us

The Center for the Maintenance, Breeding, and Rearing of Laboratory Animals of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Lorestan University, was established in December 2023 as the Laboratory Animal Center of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, for the breeding and rearing of large and small laboratory mice, in a part of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with the Anatomy and Embryology and Physiology departments of the Basic Sciences of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Subsequently, in May 2024, preparations were made to equip the new building, including breeding, rearing, and research rooms for small and large laboratory mice, adjacent to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and as an independent center.
