A Q&A session for students with the Department of Environment and Khorramabad City Council was held at Lorestan University.

This session was held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in the central building of Lorestan University with the aim of discussing environmental problems and challenges and providing solutions in relation to the mentioned issues. Students, in a friendly environment, criticized existing environmental problems and raised questions. In this session, Dr. Abbasi, the head of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr. Raeisi, the head of the Veterinary Hospital, along with several members of the faculty of Lorestan University, were present and presented their opinions.

In this session, Dr. Abbasi explained the services that can be provided at the Veterinary Hospital of Lorestan University and, while presenting a report on the collaborations that have taken place in the past between the Veterinary Hospital and the Environmental Protection Organization, emphasized the improvement and increase of collaborations. Subsequently, students made requests such as improving the situation of waste separation and recycling, protecting the wildlife of the Zagros region, protecting the environment of the province against the destruction resulting from tourism tours, and protecting the scenic area of ​​Gahar Lorestan from the officials present at the session.

At the end, the statement of the students supporting the environment was read.
