The first Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) student graduated from Lorestan University.

On Wednesday, September 20th, the first defense session of doctoral dissertations in the field of Veterinary Medicine was held in the defense hall of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lorestan, admitted its first cohort of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students in October 2011. At the Wednesday defense session, Mr. Hamid Nourbakhsh defended his dissertation, which was written under the supervision of Dr. Ali Sookhtezari. In the current semester, other students of this cohort, numbering 25, will defend their dissertations.
