A meeting for the exchange of views was held between the President and the faculty of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Lorestan University with the President and Vice Presidents of the University.
On Sunday, June 18th, the President of Lorestan University, Dr. Khosro Azizi, and his deputies, went to the conference hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University to listen to the President of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the faculty members of this university and to answer questions and comments.
The President of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Lorestan University, Dr. Mohsen Abbasi, said in a speech: "With the good cooperation of the board of directors of Lorestan University, good measures have been taken in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, including landscaping of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, purchasing a relatively large amount of equipment for the faculty, the good cooperation of the Vice President for Development and Support of the University, Mr. Dr. Jafari, to fulfill the demands of the faculty, and also the good cooperation of the Construction Office of Lorestan University".
Dr. Abbasi pointed out two shortcomings: "We have a shortage of faculty members in specialized fields, and efforts should be made to address these shortages, and also the issue of international relations should be strengthened and the shortcomings in this area should also be addressed".
The faculty members present at this meeting also expressed their views on various topics and shortcomings.
The President of Lorestan University, Dr. Khosro Azizi, and his deputies also responded to the views and questions raised.
Dr. Azizi stated: "Such meetings are important for listening and direct communication with the faculty, and we also welcome constructive and compassionate criticisms".
He said: "Our approach is reformative, and we will do our best to address the existing shortcomings".
Lorestan University currently has 9,300 students and 270 faculty members.
