The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Lorestan University, in line with equipping the faculty's laboratories with the latest diagnostic and research equipment and techniques, has purchased a Real-time PCR device. This system will be utilized for the precise diagnosis of infectious diseases, cancers, and genetic disorders, as well as in all research based on the detection of nucleic acids. Accordingly, a one-day workshop was held at the faculty to familiarize faculty members and experts with the device, with participation from interested individuals from other faculties. The cost of purchasing this device is approximately eight hundred and fifty million Rials. Currently, the PCR laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is one of the most well-equipped centers in the province in this field.
