Establishment of Two Scientific Associations: Basic Sciences and Pathobiology

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Lorestan University, previously had only one scientific association, the Veterinary Scientific Association. However, through the efforts and persistent follow-up of Mr. Soroush Afshar and Mr. Farshid Davoudi, and with the strong support of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abbasi, this association has been replaced by three separate associations: the Basic Sciences Scientific Association, the Pathobiology Scientific Association, and the Clinical Sciences Scientific Association. In this regard, and after the formation of the new associations, a meeting was held with the members of the two associations, and Mr. Farshid Davoudi was elected as the secretary of the Basic Sciences Association by a majority vote, and Mr. Soroush Afshar was also elected as the secretary of the Pathobiology Scientific Association by a majority vote. Workgroups were determined in this meeting, and the members of each workgroup were also specified.
